Also, I don't care much for the lore of Dark Souls and the story, I don't even know what was going on in Dark Souls 1 or what I'm meant to be achieving. Or should I just wait it out for Dark Souls 3 to go on sale and then have the most 'refined' Dark Souls experience. I love the mystery and surprise of meeting a brand new boss but the price of Dark Souls 2 looks quite steep for a game that's been out for 2 years.
I never finished Dark Souls (/s 'I got up to a bit where there's a forest with tree people that attack you and then further down there's some wyverns') but I don't know whether I should buy Dark Souls 2 for a fresh Dark Souls experience on PC or buy Dark Souls 1 on PC and have some of the game not be new to me. I played Dark Souls 1 when it was free for gold members on Xbox 360, before then I had converted to PC and I rarely play on my Xbox 360 now. So I want to buy a Dark Souls game on PC.
